The NCAA Division I Baseball Championship is held each year from May through June and features 64 college baseball teams in the United States, culminating in the eight-team College World Series at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. Oregon State is the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament champion, defeating runner-up Arkansas 5-0 in Game 3 to win the 2018 College World Series championship finals.

NASHVILLE — Vanderbilt baseball is one win away from the College World Series. Its winner-take-all game against Duke resumed after a two-hour, 36-minute weather delay.

After a spectacular no-hitter by Kumar Rocker in Game 2, the Commodores are still alive in the Nashville Super Regional but must win Game 3 to continue on to Omaha and the College World Series.

The Duke Blue Devils came into game 2 of the NCAA Nashville Super Regional on a confidence streak, the team swept its regional series and put 18 runs and 15 hits on the Vanderbilt Commodores, the no.2 team in the country, Friday night. Saturday night, however, their fortunes were drastically shifted.

The Blue Devils were defeated during 3-0 in game two by the Commodores, forcing a game three on Sunday with a birth to the College World Series on the line. The Blue Devils failed to get a hit off Commodores pitcher Kumar Rocker, who threw the first no-hit performance by a pitcher in NCAA Super Regional History.
